Hello there, hope you'd find something interesting here. I like Homeworld, 3DS RTS and coop-FPS genre and this and that here and there. If you have any game to try, you can ping me.
1. Watching taiidani, I noticed that they are quite alien-alike (https://picasaweb.google.com/HWTESTmod/TaiidaniDesign#5419241684115336962), so when it came to imagine how would Taii Battlecruise look like, I draw this one (look@pix), inspired by Alien Queen. (Engine up there are very Norsehound alike, but this only means that we went the right way - as taiidans like triangles :)).
Except alien queen I tried to refer to the heavy cruiser and to the corvette designs (as the corvette was once upon a time heavy cruiser concept).
So it is :)
2. Friend of mine, AndrewN told me that "of course, taii are round, but this is too much". Of course, it is :)) It is too close to the alien queen, but must be much closer to the space battle ship. :)
Then he cleaned up the lines of this fan_concept and said: "Hey! I think, it looks kadeshi very much!". I said: "Wow! It does!". So we both started remaking concept to more kadeshi alike style.
3. So, this is mine - I was inspiring from cut 'face' of swarmer, multibeam and fuel pod, and Spire`s heavy engines (I`ve just made the profile of the future ship);
4. And this is AndrewN`s remake. Nice work, I think :)
That design is very good, I would like to see it in game, As you have said is very hard to decide if it is Kadeshian or Taiidan. But I vote for the New Age Tiidan fleet, More like a Taiidan Dreadnought with a triple Long-range Heavy Ion Cannon in front and two kinetic Cannons on each side.
The outline of the new ship in grey (3) looks very promising.
I don't see anything else that strikes my fancy except that triple engine design, which was clearly inspired by Norsehound's "Cataclysm 2nd" version of the Kuun-Lan ( Forums.relicnews.com ) but it doesn't really fit Kadeshi or Taiidani design (not even neo-Kad or neo-Taii).
Maybe, it's just a sketch ) With Alien Queen as inspiration.
Number 4 seems the most Kadeshi in style
