Hey folks, so I have a crazy idea. You all probably remember the ill fated Star Wars Battlefront 3. The idea was to expand upon SWB2, with Space and land battles combined, and a general expansion of this universe. What if, instead, we combine Star Wars Battlefront 2 AND Star Wars Empire at War? Practically all of our computers can run both games side by side, and it's not the craziest of ideas to put the two together. Imagine, entering into a SWEAW battle, but jumping to Obi-Wan to, in first or third person, destroying an enemy ATAT. Or, to grab a Y-wing, and lead a squadron to destroy the heavy guns on a Star Destroyer, then quickly switching to man the Home One's bridge, commanding the fleet to obliterate the Chimaera (Grand Admiral Thrawn's ship), and then to descend upon Mos Eisely, bombing the living daylights out of the Imperial garrison with a Y-Wing with limited ammo.
What do you all think? Is this even possible? Could the SWEAW maps be ported into SWB2 or vice versa? Or is this just a fantasy...
