I wish I could make the release date "When It's Done". In any case, have patience. There are plenty of good games coming out this season that will keep you busy enough I'm sure.

Q3 2008 means 3rd quarter of 2008
CP: I think you've discovered the next greatest game show idea since the price is right.
Perhaps I should have said January 2009 :) Sorry. The new target is September.
Excellent, Kinping was such a fun multiplayer game
I'm still optimistic about the January deadline
I'm not sure yet how it's going integrate with NV/HDTP. That's something we'll get hammered out near the end. But yes, you will need both UT2004 and Deus Ex to get this mod running.
woops, forgot about this heh
here are some instructions on installing:

Ok nm what I said before heh, I just threw something together quickly so its a little sloppy. You can find the trailer in the downloads section or follow this link
Its called DXR Training Mission
bad news: sorry about my previous promise for a trailer. I've realised that I just don't have the time now. I began school again last week and I have confirmed that I won't be able to work on DXR again until the semester is over. So look for more updates around the December - January area.
I think next week im going to release another trailer or the latest version of the mod depending on how much i get done.
Excellent mod! Thanks for finally fixing all the problems with BF2 and turning it into an awesome game. Keep up the good work.
I think that was just one of their modelers quit. The project will survive though I'm sure
Perhaps, but to be on the safe side you should get yourself a copy. Deus Ex is only about $5-$10 now.
"how did u make this compatible with a mod for deus ex? (HDTP)"
We're just that damn good.
Alright check out the new screen shot of the notes/goals screen. There a few things missing, not sure if it's worth the effort to implement them. Namely the ability to edit the notes, thats gonna be a toughy.
Althought not shown in any of the screenshots, I also added functionality to the object belt. So you can drag and drop weapons onto it and then pull up those weapons with the number keys, just like in DX.
Sorry I havent been working on DXR in a while. I've been playing Oblivion like a madman.
I'll get back to work soon. :eyebrow:
Sharing is definitely a great idea. With the time saved from not having to re-invent the wheel, we can focus that time on implementing new and creative ideas. I would definitely be willing to share my code!
That is some of the hawtest game art I've seen. Good luck on this project!
