You've reached the profile of AK151. How you wandered upon this profile, I do not know, and I sincerely apologize for your misfortune. Should you decide to stay and have a look around, you'll find writing (some decent, but most pretty bad), (mostly) failed experiments, and perhaps some music. You may also happen across some fo-Star Wars stuff, much of which I keep around as a lesson to myself in how to avoid being embarrassingly over-the-top and ridiculous. It exists primarily for the currently ongoing Star Wars role-playing group (yes, there is a somewhat-thriving Star Wars RP here, believe it or not). Anyways, enjoy your stay, have a nice day, and, as always, have fun!

Description

A sketch of the Drakiir-class battlecruiser, specifically the "Valiance", the strongest of her kind. The inspiration for the Valiance came when I was playing FoC and discovered that I could come up with names for the ships. I created one name, the Advent of Justice. I then imagined it to be basically an over-sized Venator. However, I then decided to change the design, flipping the fins around, while at the same time taking inspiration from the two-prong design of the G'quan cruiser from Babylon 5. I then changed the name to "Rising Justice", and then came up with the Valiance, which ended up as my favorite. I planned for it to be one of a kind, but I eventually decided to make it a class, while at the same time creating a new race, the Drakkar, for the Valiance to belong to. So... yeah. Originally, it was 23 kilometers, but when I created this sketch to scale, I realized that there was not enough room in the design to fit the broadside cannons and the hanger bay design that I wanted to employ, so I tacked on an extra 9 kilometers of length. The full armament of the Valiance is as follows:

Ultra-heavy particle-beam cannons (2)
Very heavy modular particle-beam/pulse cannons (2)
Heavy Hyperlight mass driver launchers (12)
Hyperlight mass driver launchers (100)
Very heavy dual pulse cannons (12)
Heavy turbolaser batteries (20000)
Heavy ion cannons (2000)
Point-defense laser cannons (15000)

The picture shows the two main weapons of the Drakiir, the broadside heavy hyperlight mass drivers, half of the heavy pulse cannons, and the two side-mounted modular pulse/particle-beam cannons, along with the hanger bays located in the prongs and in front of the fins. The smaller weapons are not shown, as they would basically be little dots :P. Tell me what you think of the design. It took a while to come up with, and I believe that this will be the final rendition.
