You've reached the profile of AK151. How you wandered upon this profile, I do not know, and I sincerely apologize for your misfortune. Should you decide to stay and have a look around, you'll find writing (some decent, but most pretty bad), (mostly) failed experiments, and perhaps some music. You may also happen across some fo-Star Wars stuff, much of which I keep around as a lesson to myself in how to avoid being embarrassingly over-the-top and ridiculous. It exists primarily for the currently ongoing Star Wars role-playing group (yes, there is a somewhat-thriving Star Wars RP here, believe it or not). Anyways, enjoy your stay, have a nice day, and, as always, have fun!

Chris was the tech specialist who disabled the automated defenses in the Kuat Shipyards as well as hacking the communications in the same mission.

In addition, he was able to wreck havoc at Bespin by turning the automated defenses against the Imperial forces there, while also hacking the database and finding the shipment routes for tibanna freighters.

Description

Chris is a technical genius, and one of Nova's greatest assets.

He was born on Taris to a poor family who foolishly tried to escape debt by fleeing the planet on a shuttle to Nar Shadda. There, they disappeared for a time, until their past caught up with them when Chris was fourteen.

His family was executed, and he survived only by running. He ran for a long time, finally stopping at an abandoned apartment. However, he found out too late that the place was not abandoned. It was home to a small criminal gang, and they discovered and captured him during the night.

Instead of killing him, as Chris expected, they took him in and helped him disappear from his hunters. In this group, Chris met Derrick, the gang's tech specialist, a savant with computers but good for little else.

Derrick, after some coaxing, became good friends with Chris, and, the latter already having an affinity for technology, Derrick became Chris' unofficial mentor. From Derrick, Chris learned everything he knows now about technology.

A year after the Jedi purge, the gang disbanded. Chris stole a freighter, reprogramming the systems on board and making the ship his own. However, he was caught and was forced to flee Nar Shadda. In desperation, he plotted a random hyperspace course and jumped.

He exited hyperspace in front of two capital ships. Before he could react, his ship was captured and he was taken aboard, placed in a cell, learning that the capital ships belonged to the Jedi. Breaking out was child's play for Chris, and he escaped, trying to find a way off the ship. He was stopped once again, this time by a Jedi Master, Terak Jay.

Recognizing the young hacker's potential, Terak convinced the leaders of the resistance to trust Chris, and he was placed on Nova squad. His youth and recklessness coined the nickname "Hotshot".

Chris' armor is customized to allow his shields to be channeled into an electrical charge that can overload electronics, and incapacitate organics.
