It does look interesting, but it reminded me already a one map in the game which I don't remember how it was called and that's probably the reason why it wasn't in the game. However, I was more disappointed by the things which should be in the original Battlefield 2, but they were cut. Like the underwater warfare and a lot of things which were shown in some early Alpha demos.
Yes, that's true. BF games got a lot of content cut in overall. That's sad.
I've been thinking how this never completed by original BF2142 developers map could look, so this time I decided to take pen and just do it.
