(1) The garage which had the radio also has the torch. Look for a mattress, it's veeery easy to miss that small item, I had to double-crouch to even see it.

(2) You have to be quick, once you find an anomalous tunnel the teleportation should stop. All I remember was clearing a room with 2-3 zombie stalkers, a hole on the floor and an anomalous tunnel after that. The master was somewhere there, good luck! (Also, don't forget to have your detector out while in that tunnel...)

Is there a way to change the overall graphics quality, now that the drop-down menu has been deleted from the settings menu?

I've maxed all graphics in the advanced settings, like I always do with Anomaly, but the game still looks like Static Lighting mixed with Very Low graphics preset. I even changed to DirectX 11 (R4) in the launcher to no avail.

Does changing "_preset Default" in user.ltx do anything?

Is it possible to have Barkeep (or other major traders) recharging your electrical gadget, say, overnight for a fee? I mean, he does have a stable source of electricity in 100 Rads.

I don't really buy into that battery stuff, I'd even say that I prefer the UPD thingy from Misery. Not sure how much of a hassle it would be to mod.

Just started a new game on Ironman mode / Hard / Survivalist. Totally needed this one for the challenge, thanks!

Any idea why all the sound effects sound like super low bitrate .mp3s? Is it some kind of forced surround simulation? I tried to play the game with EAX on and off, no effect. Really stings my ears.

Not complaining here, but I've been playing 10+ hours with this, done quests that involved killing my faction's natural enemies which caused a chain reaction where the factions declared war against yours one by one. Is this intentional?

And I'm not kidding, I threw a grenade into a full Merc base, killing 7 to 12 Mercs and boom - they declared a cease-fire with me. Couldn't stop laughing. It's been an interesting playthrough if anything.

I never use spawn menus / debug cheats, but this one was a life saver. Got stuck in the Daedalus' Labyrinth when zombies glitched the code-locked door permanently shut. Spawned myself a few grenades and some disposable Freedom scum to pry the door open. Thanks!

I know, and I do respect the dev's views.

But given how many hours you'll end up staring at the HUD and inventory, it will have a subconscious impact on the player's experience. Whether it's a "lore-friendly" or too alien experience I'll leave that to the consumers. This is just my opinion.

I'm sure I'm gonna get a f-ton of downvotes, but if that sleek and modern UI / inventory design is something that is going to be in the finished game I'll be hugely disappointed.

Such a generic PUBG / DayZ / Tarkov style travesty that ruins the whole image of rusty and grimy immersion of the STALKER universe. It's all conveyor belt stuff these days. It's the small things that make the game so atmospheric. I know this is a product of someone's hard work, but to me it's just pure blasphemy. If the designer(s) are long-time fans of the game, I'm hoping they will get their Zone veteran eyes open.

Someone had to say it.

Arnie is broken. After the second or third match in the Arena he gives you 1000 RUB everytime you enter the dialog. Not sure if he has always been that way, but that's something I noticed just now.

Also, the military technician in Agroprom is still stuck on the ground level, standing awkwardly in front of the medic.

Yeah, it's there. But I just noticed there is a "config" AND "configs" folder in my gamedata folder. Which one it should be? Your .rar includes a "config" one.

Yeah. I'm currently using these:

- Anomaly scopes extension
- Thermite grenade fix
- Small Tweaks and Stuff V1 (none doesn't seem to modify companions)
- Sidearm slot
- Usable toolsets

Nice, good job! I've always been a perfectionist on things like these, I'm grateful that someone has the time and the interest to correct them.

Thank you for your hard work with this mod, it was amazing. I wish all the best to your son and the whole family, I know how quickly life can change from joy to sorrow, and how heavy the burden of worrying is. Many aren't as lucky as you.

Oh yeeeaaaah! I've been waiting for this for so long.

By the way, did you keep the vanilla player and NPC damage values or did you alter them for this mod? To be quite honest here, I've had problems enjoying the dozens of HL mods I've played over the years, just because of the pea shooter weapons and overall too easy difficulty levels. It's pretty much the only thing that didn't age well.

It's your absorbed radiation. I take it you don't have a dosimeter? It's the only way to detect radiation and dose.

Let's just say that this mod has a lot of potential. I like many things about it and I am excited to see a bit grander mod in a while. But obviously it is unfinished, and I'm here to state some bugs, issues and stupidities right off the bat:

- The menus. They keeps freezing after applying some options (graphics, gameplay..) and I need to constanty Alt + Tab to bypass this. Also, I'd like to see more options about the gameplay mechanics (i.e. enable / disable item animations) since they have been hidden for some reason.

- The sleeping system. Good God, was I glad to see that you included "Disable sleep deprivation" button in the options, since you can't sleep anywhere in the game. I've seen some sleeping mats but you can't use those even around campfires. Haven't seen a single sleeping bag in the game. Add some beds, or just allow using sleeping mats in the interiors / around campfires.

- Skinning animals. Again, you had to add the ever-so-annoying skinning animation there, you only get one (1) animal part per animation AND you have to re-equip the knife everytime you do so. Super slow and annoying process which made me quit hunting completely.

- Cooking with the low-tier cooking kit. They can be only used once, why? Do the pots and pans melt from the mutated meat broth or something? Another reason not to hunt and cook.

- Geiger counter / dosimeter. After three (3) unsuccessful attempts to start a new game I always died from the invisible radiation poisoning, since I didn't have a notification / dosimeter crackling right from the beginning. First I thought the character was sick from the food, since the health bar kept diving. In all logic, why would anyone enter the Zone without one? Even if it's an expensive item, it should be issued right from the start.

- CTDs when quicksaving during battle. Usually when there are lots of NPCs shooting around / mutants running about.

Otherwise it's a great mod. Really enjoyed it. I like the raised difficulty, melee weapons, backpack thingies and the overhauled consumables and repair item variety. A very, very exciting mod to be honest.

Well, damn. I was just wondering why my character was wheezing and his health dropping with fast pace. I thought it was the bad food I was eating.

I installed it in the order that was recommended: Last Day 1.3 + Patch file -> Last Day Fix from 28/01/2018 -> English translation.

I was in the Army Warehouses at night, playing with Survival Mode. I went to sleep at the Freedom base, and when I woke up there was a HUGE zombie spawn (I don't know, maybe 50 to 100 zombies, izloms, pseudogiants etc) and the game was so overloaded (under 1 FPS) I had to load the save before I went to sleep. But none of the saves from Army Warehouses worked, CTDs everytime. Only the autosave worked, that was in the exit to Rostok.

Tried it again, still nothing. When I Ctrl+V'd the clipboard to Notepad it said this:

stack trace:

Nothing else. The xray_username.log says the same but with:

stack trace:
0023:082987D5 xrGame.dll, CDialogHolder::UseIndicators()

Yeah, it's there, but it doesn't have the crash log in it. There is also the .bkp which doesn't have it either.

It's strange because I haven't exited the game in normal way (menu -> exit) in many days, because the game always CTDs at some point. So I'm kind of curious why it doesn't make a log of the crashes. And what even causes them.

Anyway, thanks for answering.

Well, it seems that mine doesn't.

I was starting to think it could be a different .log file because I've never had the FATAL ERROR in that log on CoC platform. It appears in SoC, CS and CoP whenever the game CTDs / launches BugTrap but not on CoC (or CoM / LD).

This just stirs the soup even more. Anyone familiar with this issue?
