Did you open the correct ports in your router? As for the animations and sounds, those will be replaced by new ones. The current sounds are from UT3.

There is no PS3 version of Renegade X and there will most likely never be one.

Currently 0.551 is the latest patch, a minor patch was released a while ago. Here's how to install it: Download and install 0.55, run the server client and you'll get prompted to install some necessary updates. Those will update your client to 0.551.

It has an animation for when it's destroyed.

They're currently working on Operation Black Dawn which no longer requires Unreal Tournament 3. This is an independent release and more independent multiplayer releases will follow.

Lots of forum accounts died when they changed to a linux server. We've reported it too, but it still doesn't work properly. My advice is to make a new account, that works fine.
