Welcome to Zero SFX. Created in January of 2006 by Garrett, Zero SFX started out as an independent Indie and Modification community established organization, providing high-quality Audio Production for its clients. After working on a number of projects Zero SFX later branched into a contract audio production unit. Zero SFX provides Audio Production for Video Game titles ranging from titles ranging from RPGs, Music Rhythm Games, and 1st/3rd Person Action titles, as well as film production. This process involves audio engineering, sound design, foley recording, voice acting, and dialogue editing.

Firstly, the song is not quiet, it resonates, but this is perfect for the dark mysterious atmosphere you are talking about.
It gave me the sense that I was inside of a very dark cave with very low visibility.
The only thing that I didn't like was the added sound that sounded like a glockenspeil (however you spell it), it took away the mystery, perhaps a more subtle and more eerie sound would be best to take it's place.

Otherwise, I enjoyed this track, it kept me interested and had the effect that you said it had.
