Just in case some people have been living under a rock recently, this is a picture of the new Necron HQ the Overlord, go to Games-workshop.com if you want to see more.
If you guys want more pics of the new units I'll be happy to post them here if asked.
And did anyone see, who the author of this new codex is?

The author was confirmed a while back... Matt Ward
Author of most of it UNDER SUPERVISION of two other guys. Don't worry guys, the new Codex isn't entirely his work and they made sure he doesn't screw it up again.
And under their supervision, he still manages to **** things up. C'Tan shards and talking necrons, anyone?
aren't the C'tan getting moved to apocalypse game mode?
And Necrons talking is probably inspired by DOW series
Makes more sense on how they can be summoned by multiple Necron armies at once. As for talking Crons, the new Codex gives them a better background with different Empires. If you don't like talking Crons, there is a Tomb World that accidentially deleted the memories of all its Necrons, noticed that it was a dumb idea and took over - in other words, classic Necrons. You can go for that.
And C'Tan are now Elite, but still usable in normal play IIRC.
Actually, they had many quotes in lot of places that have been said by Necrons (atleast one I think was in either apocalypse book)

Matt Ward eh ??? I guess Necron Lord and Ultramarine Chapter Master are gonna go pick flowers together, again. That moron should seriously be killed. Where is the Exterminatus fleet when you need one >.>
Um, you do realize that Exterminatus on Terra is completely out of the question?
In other news, I saw some Ordo Xenos ships heading for earth last night. I expected the Ordo Malleus/Hereticus, but then I realized that if Matt Ward was under the influence of the dark gods, he would make things MORE grimdark, and less reminscent of MLP:40k.
Anyways, moment of silence for the C'tan.

These new codexes have brought me no pleasure whatsoever.
This pleases him.
I can't care less whether Matt Ward wrote the codex or not: they look freaking awesome, and my army is ordered and (hopefully) mine next Saturday =P
