Last I checked, possessing natural born Giant Wings isn't normal... thus, mutation.

Last time I checked, something that the Emperor granted you is not counted as a "mutation" in the imperial books.

The Emperor wouldn't mutate one of his primarchs, this was most likely caused by Baal's natural high levels of radiation.

"Uniquely amongst the Primachs he sported a pair of angel-like wings from his back, though whether this was by the design of the Emperor or a mutation caused by the high levels of radiation on Baal is unknown. He was also said to have psychic powers, especially the ability to divine the future[Needs Citation]."

Just so we're all on the same page, that's what it says on lexicanum, not that anyone's bothered to cite anything on Sanguinius' page.

You mean he would convince SANGUINUS to join chaos. If Sang was warmaster he would have been hit by the daemonic weapon on Darvin, so Erebus would come to him..... Hmmm, this seems as a nice AH idea :D

but Sanguinus would of taken a different course of action and maybe not of gone to Darvin instead the choas gods would of used horus still

If Emperor didn't destroy Monarchia and humiliate entire Word Bearers legion, Lorgar would never turn to Chaos. In such situation Erebus and Kor Phaeron would be afraid to tell anything to Lorgar, and thus they would just keep secretly reading forbidden literature with Slaanesh porn, Tzeentch propagandist leaflets, Khorne extremist calls, etc :D
