Honestly I don't understand what America and the nations that support it expected to happen after they did so much damage in the Middle East.

Now before someone wrongly accuses me of supporting murder, understand that I'm not saying that killing civilians is alright just that the US and countries that stand with it escalated this entire mess by killing civilians in the middle east.

Point being why can't there be peace in this world? Why does everyone seem to want things to be their way and only their way?

Anyways, since every life is valuable to me so, it's absolutely terrible that so many lives were lost. :( However while lost lives are tragic, it is also important to keep this from giving governments an additional reason to strip away our rights and freedoms. Also I don't think making a tragic event "popular" is a good prevention method...

Elf, the reason is politics and national interests.
Two things that are absolutely necessary for governments.

Doesn't mean ideology won't play a large role either.
Like we've seen in the mideast with radical Islam.

As for your U.S. argument Ive addressed that in the next image. I'd originally had a large response here but decided it was being too long and too harsh. If you get downvoted in your responses, which Ive noted has already happened in your comment there, don't blame me for it when it comes. This is the United States group. You make comments blaming America for every act of wrong over in the mideast or in the name of Islam, when their ideology itself is to blame, and it will backfire on you. I don't know how else to explain that to you without sounding like being a overly patriotic, confrontational jerk.

The reason why I blame the US for this was because if they left the middle east alone none of this would have been able to happen. I mean what kind of person is willing to throw away their life when they have a roof over their head, food, education, a job, etc.? And which of those are still left over after a war? No, a pile of rubble is neither a school, home or usual work place. And not only that but a warzone makes people desperate for change and/or wanted to get back at those that put them in their current situation.

After all Hitler rose to power out of a crisis and a war torn country without good leadership is as good example of a crisis as you can get.

And since the US caused this crisis, they are the ones to blame for everything the crisis lead to. Sure there were other factors but had the US not tried to impose their ideals on others while taking as much oil as possible none of this would have been able to happen.

Originally we didn't.

If you remember the Gulf War we saw to throwing Saddam out of Kuwait when he invaded and preserving our interests. I must give Bush senior credit, because he knew better than to dethrone Saddam after throwing him out. He had wisdom beyond his years in that regard.

But what's happened with the USA was a mix of fear and ignorance to the problem. After 9/11 the entire country was in a uproar. Politicians took advantage of that, and abandoned common sense to get what they could out of it.

Both Democrats and Republicans supported the invasion of Iraq and our involvement in Afghanistan. Under the guise of attacking the terrorists and dethroning a brutal dictator called Saddam. For a time, common sense was overrun by emotion and ambition. With us humans, that is something we are all too prone too.

Europe even went along with us on it, they considered it a attack on NATO what happened on 9/11 so they went in with us for the decade. German, British, all kinds of forces fought alongside the Americans in the mideast.

Here's my question for you, how can you blame a people, and those who egg them on, like Europe, when they are overcome by such emotion and anger? Looking back with hindsight people will claim we didn't go in over 9/11. But that was the factor that ultimately sent us in, because it's what gave the public and the politicians the intent and will to do it.

Did the USA destabilize the mideast with this decision? Yes. Is it necessarily their fault? No. They are human like you and me. They were humans who got caught up in a moment, like we all do, and sinned. It's just a shame that sin went to such a national level. Now America is dazed and at war with itself over why, why this all had to happen. From the economy to the loss of the mideast's stability. And you think for a minute Americans are proud of that?

My stance is simple, drop the blame on people for being people.
It didn't even have to be America that did this.

9/11 could've happened to Russia instead and you'd have got the same situation. You could've gotten a irresponsible administration anytime that would've had this happen.

And the ideology of the mideast would react the same, everytime.

I want to cry when I think of all the pain and suffering that has resulted from this, for all I know though, perhaps it was just divine intent for something else. You read the Bible as have I, perhaps this is helping set the stage for the rise of the anti-Christ. It does say he will somehow resolve things in the mideast which whill get him much of his popularity. Come to think of it, that's probably it.

You know, I read a interesting comment tonight.

A natural defense mechanism for people is to find elsewhere to lay blame when they are deemed responsible for some very horrible things, and I mean horrible, things.

There is truth in this. But as an American I just will never be able to accept that my own people, were responsible for such horror that the mideast has fostered and unleashed. I just, can't accept that, that we are responsible for such a ideology.
