All of the thanks to goes to Carnius for a great mod, I am thankful that you are kind enough to make this for me and the rest of the CNC community, without caring about any kind of pay or reimbersment. I and, I believe the rest of the CNC community really just want to say, THANKS CARNIUS! and thank you for coming to TEF.

I have this idea from Mass Effect: Aliens used dead humans to transform them to mindless, weak warriors. How about adding this power to the scrins, it could be a certain unit or a support power like the one from Kane's Wrath, where dead humans were transformed into enlighteneds ( I don't know the exact english name ). In Mass Effect they are put on iron poles, in order to be transformed. If it would be a support power for the scrins, these iron poles could come out of the ground. These units look like this: Images.wikia.com Poles: Images.wikia.com
Probably it will be necessary to think a lot about balancing and the need of this units/power.
So what do you think?

I do not really think it's something for the Scrin.
Scrin got already to many stolen ideas from movies and other games. (more bugs then humans though) besides where do you need this kind of humans for? they're not really strong, does not use weapons and are not smart either. actually worse then the bussers right now, those can at least clear out buildings and got speed to scout.

The Scrin consider the human race too "warlike" and "premitive" oo be of any use, and therefore will teleport them all somewhere else once the Thresholds are ready (a C&C3 intel document)

Not the necromancers and skeletons ruled over by mighty Lich king again.(aka the endless army controled by remote control) Or zombies and so.
The Scrin have no interest in mankind, they were wondering what humanoids are doing on a planet that were supposed to be full of tiber..I mean ichor LQ and ready for harvesting. So basically the Scrin are interested only in Ichor LQ, no sense in having or researching some reanimating technology that turns dead into obedient slaves. Humans are just a temporary obstacle, nothing more. Similiar lore as an the Hierarchy faction has in Universe at war: Earth assault. IMHO. And as for humanoid-like infantry for Scrin. they already have Stalwarts.

P.S "Ichor LQ" stands for Liquid Tiberium.

Erm, It actually stands for Ichor liquid... Ichor being the 'scrin word' for tiberium.

Exactly, thats what I mean, I translated the whole thing to English, but perhaps in a bad and not-so-clear way there.

perhaps a toxic cloud like of the corrupter suddenly pops out of the ground and turns a entire force in hostile mutants/ viscroids

May 3 2012 Anchor

How would that make any sense gameplay-wise? How would it be balanced? Implemented?

It doesnt even make sense lore-wise, mutants are created from a long-term expore of small anmounts of tiberium radiaton, not like that. How would there still be civillians?

May 4 2012 Anchor

the green toxic stream of the corrupter does it ( viscroids) , so it would techinly be lore wise and as for implantation, a devourer explosion would do the trick i guess. and balance, its not like its any more unfair than rending up enemy infantry with stealth field, only this also causes a diversion, and you might forget that in KW, the scrin are already ffing up civies with huge parisites on their forehead.

May 4 2012 Anchor

I think that we "core-fans" of the TE mod does not consider KW or any other futher release that EA-cooked up to be canon.

Stealth fields does not kill infantry anymore.

May 11 2012 Anchor

i was only involving kw to show that civys are already fckt

though i gotta admit that it was dumb of ea to make stealth lethal, i mean, it bends light, not friggin matter.
