All of the thanks to goes to Carnius for a great mod, I am thankful that you are kind enough to make this for me and the rest of the CNC community, without caring about any kind of pay or reimbersment. I and, I believe the rest of the CNC community really just want to say, THANKS CARNIUS! and thank you for coming to TEF.

How about adding a completely new Tiberium. RED TIBERIUM. I have thought of this since TS and have always thought it would be cool. I mean it could be double the value of Blue and be like 10x rarer

so what do you think?

Nov 29 2010 Anchor

No. I dont like the thought of Red tiberium at all.

;( how dare you |)

no seriously i was hoping you would like it but ow well

Dec 3 2010 Anchor

I dont like it either. I have never heard about red tiberium until it appear in some fan mods for TS. For me its not part of canon and i think red doesnt fit in anyway.

Well it would look cool..

Dec 7 2010 Anchor

Well you know, Carnius is fixing the damage EA made to the canon. So it wouldnt make any sense at all to add content from fan-made maps from TS.

Dec 21 2010 Anchor

Well I have never won TS or Firestorm but reading the wiki red tiberium was at the end of one of them when Tratos assassinated he was examining a chunk of red tiberium

Wiki says "Unknown Red StrainEdit Unknown Red Strain sectionEditThis new strain of red/orange Tiberium started to appear during the Firestorm Crisis. However, it is extremely rare, and few commanders have had the chance to harvest it, though some have remarked that it is even more potent, valuable and explosive than Tiberium Cruentus and Aboreus. A sample was retrieved by Tratos, and studied at his base protected by a Firestorm shield. However, all of its secrets were lost with the Mutant leader, who was assasinated by Nod forces on orders of CABAL. Notably, the sample grew into a large crystal, similar to a Vinefera or Aboreus crystal, except it was an orangey-red colour. "

I think a yellow tiberium crystal would make more sense since, you know, red is very overused, and shit like that. But Red tiberium is lore so I would settle.

Nothing interrupts me. NOTHING! for I am Smarticles. :P

Yellow has no lore support.

Red tiberium existed as one crystal yes. But there is no proof at all that it actualy grew. That part is not canon.

Dec 23 2010 Anchor

Actually there is some small evidence for it " few commanders have had the chance to harvest it" this implies that some have in fact harvased it. However I have had an idea for it, not in a field but dropd by certan units when they are destryed would have to think about which units maybe make a custom elite tibereum spike or silo that when destroyed drops tib like normal only 1-2 tib units are red instead of green and have them grow but not create more (could alow it to spead slowly as well).

Tiberium cannot grow in C&C3 in the way it grows like in TS.

Dec 23 2010 Anchor

Tibereum can grow from other tibereum it is just a certain kind support power that spawn the tibereum....... wait that might be Kains wraith

No. One patch cannot spread into more patches. They must grow withing a certain field.

Dec 23 2010 Anchor

How about

"Cruentus
These are large crystals, similar in appearance to the above two strains of tiberium, except they grow in clumps of approximately 1 square metre to a height of one to two metres. They spread patches of Tiberium Vinifera and Aboreus around them. These crystals are extremely explosive and quite rare. When exploded they shower crystals around the landscape up to 600 metres. This is thought to be a method of spreading Tiberium. It is called "Cruentus" meaning blood-red, even though the crystal itself is dark blue. "

It would make a cool thing to have to avoide in a map for fear of geting obliterated, or you may wish to spread tib so you would destroy it.

i believe there should be a superior form of tiberium, better than blue. its 2047, tiberium should have evolved at least a little bit other than forming red zones.

Liquid tiberium geyser

There is no lore support for this but I am purposing it. It would be a geyser that shoots Liquid tiberium from a underground reservoir. It would have an area around it where the tiberium would be landing which would act like the corrupter weapon and do damage and spawn viseroids.

Some story for it. Found only in some of the worst red zones these geysers spew toxic liquid tiberium that corrupts human and non tiberium animal life. It appears to heal and help provide a source of nutrition to tiberium fauna and flora. Normally near these geysers you can find an abundance of tibereum flora and fauna. It is speculated that these are helping to teriforming the planet to better suet an unknown and alien biology.
