thats a really small/low calibre gun for such a big tank.
It was an infantry tank. Basically supposed to serve a function similar to modern Infantry fighting vehicles.
Sure Matilda only has a 2 pounder gun that only fires AP rounds, but in 1940 that was enough to punch out most of the German combat vehicles.
On another note, in 1940 the only cannon that could beat Matilda's armor was a Flak 18!
however this isnt a matilda
This is he Churchill early version armed with he 2 pound gun not he Matilda.
My mistake, I must have been distracted by the little QF-2. I never knew they mounted it on the Churchill.
Well yeah the Churill with such he tiny cannon can be really confusing :P . Alslo i love british tank design too.
