Also the Israel Defence Force Army is testing secret technology which makes tanks and troops almost INVISIBLE.
Just kidding. But seriously, it is a british system called 'cloaking device' (google it). THis image shows what it maybe could look like if it was installed on the Merkava tank.

GEEESH, yes OF COURSE the damn picture is a shop, APPARENTLY! But it is related to a real article about the british 'cloaking device'. The British Military itself stated in 2007 that they have invented a system that makes their tanks invisible to the human eye. No joke!
This picture only shows what the British cloaking device might look like if it were applied to an Israeli tank...

To everyone who is too lazy to research the article, Here is how it works:
Actually it is all about illusion. Tthe trick is that many cameras are positioned on the tank and take real-time footage of the surrounding environment, and projectors show the images on the surface of the tank so that the only thing visible are the images of the terrain which is projected onto the tank.
(Using cameras and projectors creates a smoke-and-mirrors style optical illusion)
problem is that cameras or projectors can fail, and from different angles, the tank may be visible.
And here is the the next stage, to make the tank invisible WITHOUT [cameras and projectors], physicist Sir John Pendry tells the Daily Mail, "which is intricate and complicated, but possible."
it works by using next-generation cloaking technology that actually "manipulates light".
