how about soviet piece of crap, so beautiful and badass they used them in Chechnya one time and immediately stopped producing them for the russian army, they even stopped other projects that were based on the T-80

I dont know where are you taking these fact, but i heard a russian T-90 or T-64 was hit by 7 or 8 RPGs and it still worked very well...
The T-90 fared well, but the T-80 did horribly in the First Chechen War.
Its because of the Gas-Turbine engine they added into the T80. After Chechnia they realized Gas-Turbines make a tank more explosive that the shells it fires.
You know that happened because of bad tactics right? The "undestroyable" Abrams and Merkava tanks get blasted by RPGs and IEDs regularly, doesn't mean they're bad though.
Abrams is pretty bad though. Automotive and weapons performance are in the toilet with it. Merkava is on the opposite spectrum of those two but it still suffers from very poor armor protection like the Abrams.
dude, T-80 was stopped from production because of political\economical reasons, this has nothing to do with Chechnya
