Ok what we go here is upgrade of the strv 122 with a more up to date armor package.
the modular armor is getting to be a standerd now with leo2's like the A7, PSO,NG,SG and so on.
That makes me moist
its so childish to have or wright about these kind of thoughs like that when looking at tanks, personaly i think its pathetic if you really meant it, i like tanks but nothing beats a nude womens body
Meh still stupid they retired S-tank for the leopard. Leopard may be awesome but nothing beats the frontal armour of the S-tank.
Well I guess they did it because of combined arms, the S-tank is as vulnerable as any tank to ATGMs while being being restricted by its lack of turret.
On the other hand tanks doesn't really derp around at 60km/h and lob shells everywhere. Despite we have the CV-90/40 for the derping around role.
Couldn't the s-tank also 'tilt'?

it could, it also had a build in bulldozer so it could make trenches in minutes and take on defensive positions,i am sure the stank if refitted with a 120mm gun it would be useful in modernwarfare :D
I don't know if it would even need a 120mm gun, the 105mm gun is quite a bit longer then of the early Abrams and the Centurion tanks. And considering it only used Sabot rounds and HE I don't think it mattered, despite the Americans seems to think their shorter 105mm on the Stryker is good enough against tanks.
