well we would have had a better chance of stalling the Soviets while we fell back to the Romanian bridgehead ... based off of my estimates the war would have dragged on well into Dec. 1939 - Jan. 1940 as the UK & France were supposed reinforce and resupply us via Romania.
Moral of the story never rely on western powers as they will almost always abandon you for their own self interests :/
Tho this plan never had a chance of happening seeing as our own Gov. at the time hindered development of next gen weapons. All I could find about them is a so called special commission that more often than not was responsible for shutting down said projects be they tanks, aircraft, artillery, & even small arms development.
'Moral of the story never rely on western powers as they will almost always abandon you for their own self interests :/' - I'm Czech, Munich agreement... And if that agreement was also in that alternate history, you would be crushed anyway, since Germans took all our tech.
yea your guys tanks were pretty badass for the time and you had the ability to make many more of them. Tis a shame the Polish and Czech Governments never made an alliance back in the day.
Last time polish wanted to ally something from us, Těšín, they got *** kicked... That time Czechoslovakia had friends, but there were enemies all around the borders.
Poland sadly had no chance between Hitler and Stalin both pushing in from both sides, the Germans had a better air force and Stalin had rivers of soldiers and tons of armor.
Still better than a cavalry charge against an armored division.
dam im surprised that old piece of Nazi propaganda is still floating around 0_o
Ha, I read that a long time ago in some magazines (Purnell's History of the Second World War). Just "researched" that Polish cavalry charge on Wikipedia and it appears that it's a load of rubbish. My apologies for perpetrating that misinformation.
