Description
German project for super heavy tank during WW2. Parts from it were used in Tiger II and was canceled ddue to Panzer VIII Maus.
Löwe is German premium heavy tank in World of Tanks MMO (as pictured here).

For now. But as you can see, it was already shown, and with the hardwipe I guess Löwe will appear. I am wondering how many golds will cost.

I pressume that Löwe will be Tier 8 or 9 tank, not 10. Germans will then already have too many T10 tanks :D And 10k is too much, even premium account for a month costs only 2500 golds.
lol I ever thought what there was another VII than Tiger II ala Kingtiger. This tank isn't really well known hmm?
Panzer VII is the Löwe
Panzer VI E is the Tiger
Panzer VI B is the "Königs Tiger"
This was only a concept, that's why it's not that well known. That said, there was no panzer 7, as griffinz said, the Tiger II was part of the Panzer 6 series. I'm not sure why they proceeded to call the maus panzer 8 though.
because a concept is enough? You know the US didn't make 51 different bombers before the B-52, ... though they did have 51 concepts, only a few of them became real aircraft ;)
It's just abit strange is all, since to my knowledge that's the only time the Germans have just skipped to the next series of tanks. I'm sure it's an extremely common thing with aircraft, just not something you see so often with armoured vehicles.
They havent in fact skipped it, because Löwe was supposed to be a new heavy tank after Tiger. But was dropped because Hitler wanted Maus, a newer generation.
And Its Panzer VI Tiger, only this, without any "E". King Tiger/Tiger II was Panzer VIB Tiger II, like this.
Ok, I must admit I was wrong about Tiger being Ausf. E, but also it was designated as Ausf.H. About Tiger II, I think that Tiger Ausf.B is somehow strange, but in WoT it is VIB Tiger II
