Word on the street is the elements of the 64th Infantry Brigade (Banderban) and 24th Infantry Division (Chittagong) along with an armored column and 10 tanks has been mobilized. And Burma army's Western Command has moved its five Light Infantry Battalions onto the border line supported by heavy artillery units comprising 105 mm howitzers. The later is confirmed.

Things are not looking too bright...

Myanmar fields a far superiorly equipped military compare to ours thanks to the purchases made during the decade long military rule. While our troops are better trained and our terrain is excellent for defensive warfare, our army is still in the middle of expansion and modernization program and are ill prepared for any kind of conflict.

Can you get help? From India for example? I must admit I have no idea about politics in that part of world.

Due the fall of secular Congress-party in 2014 Indian Presidential election and victory of Pro-Hindu BGB-Party with 50% seat in the parliament meant there is a serious fall of favor with our current governing body, which for the last eight year pretty much acted like Congress's lap dog. Moreover, Awami Party's extreme pro-India stand ended up seriously damaging our relation with Europe, USA and most importantly relation with our biggest allay, China. Myanmar on the other hand, enjoys good relation with both India and Myanmar and recently developed strong ties with China thanks to the Oil pipelines China made across their country.

In short, nope.

Russia is getting very cosy with China, so does that not affect India-China ties at all? A shame if it doesn't.

Pretty nice tanks. The T series will be always my favourite.
And I'm sad to hear this war happening.
