MAS-1 (LT-1) - Soviet draft wheeled / tracked by a small mass of the flying tank of the interwar period. Designed to proactively engineer M. Smalko. Not out of the stage layout.
In May 1937, the initial project engineer NIERO M. Smalko drafted a flying tank on the basis of the BT-7 with folding retractable wings, tail and propeller, designated MAS-1 (Small Aircraft Smalko, first), or LT-1 (Flying Tank, the first). Machine to be used for ground and aerial reconnaissance, to participate in airborne operations, ensuring deep cavalry raids and overcome the air of major natural and man-made obstacles during ground operations. In the same year he made a wooden model of the machine, but soon the project was considered hopeless and work on it ceased.
