Which was a better tank Ace? Michael Wittmann destroyed 13 tanks in 15 minutes while Karl Körner attacked a whole tank division being refueled and shot all his tank rounds.
PS. Notice the kill rings on the gun tube of his King Tiger.... very impressive, huh?

11 IS-2? I thought it was better then a Tiger, or was it just that Körner was epicier then the epicly epiciest Duck in the world?
No, this is a Tiger II. Not Tiger I. And yes, the IS-2 was superior to the early Tiger I. But Karl Körner commanded a Tiger II aka "King Tiger", which was FAR superior to the IS-2 in any way. Tiger II had a) better gun b) better armor c)beter optics and d) outstanding gun range. plus Karl Körner was a very high skilled tanker too ;)
the King Tiger's 8,8cm kwk43 could destroy the IS-2 frontally at 2,000m distance, while the 122mm D-25 of the IS-2 could only penetrate the King Tiger's front armor at very close distance only.
True story:
Some years ago, when i visited one of my friends for a LAN-party in a small town in 'Rheinland-Pfalz' i came across pharmacy-shop just one block away from his home. It was called "Tiger Apotheke".
"Hey, 'Tiger', like 'Tiger-tank'" i said to my friend laughing(refering to CoH).
"Yeah, that's what it's named after..." he replied.
The owner of that shop was 'Otto Carius'. That old pharmacist once was highdecorated 'Panzer-***'... More than 150 confirmed kills,wounded 4 times, surviving the war, becoming a pharmacist, owning a pharmacy-shop and still running it while being almost 90years old.
I'm totally not a fan of the 3rd Reich 'n' all that idiology-**** refered to it... But DAMN, that's one hell tough son of a b**ch...

It's not clear, Karl Körner look like a just propaganda symbol, and he may not even exist. On photo, it's Karl Brommann, also ace, but he doesn't fought in Berlin. Even he was known only by propaganda
