Looks like a Abrams rip off.
the desinge of the K1 (at least the shape of the tank and the turret) technically oriented on german Leopard 2 and the american M1 Abrams as well as it uses the German gun ;)
Well of course the K1 is similar to the M1 Abrams because it was designed from a M1 prototype by Chrysler Defense who designed the M1 and was bought by General Dynamics.
Also the K1 was considered better than the M1A1 because of better sights, senors, and optics, until the M1A2 was produced.
So you can't really call it a rip off because the it was designed by the same company that made the M1 series.

yeah the real question is are the south koreans really gonna use it?
Its been in South Korean Service for a while now the real question is will the North Koreans charge over the border anytime soon.
its german cause the abrams is GERMAN, or atleast designed be the germans
