Those are downgrade versions of the real Abrams tank !!! They don't have the depleted Uranium plating embedded in graphite !!! Which is what actually help the vehicle to withstand certain AT threats from frontal attacks !!!
This is bad, very bad !!!
And another thing, they use very old ammo as well, some of them use the old 105mm gun, some uses the old 120mm A1 rounds with the old revision of the L44 gun.
The electronics are very basic as well.
And I forgot no ERA tiles either !!!
On the bright side, GLA can now use the M1A1 in mods because we can always say they were stolen from Iraq or apropriated on conquest.
Typically exported military hardware of any kind are downgraded versions of the updated ones. So it's no surprise that they have the twenty year old variant.
