We are likely going to buy that too. That's why we stopped buying the MBT-2000/VT-1 after only 44 of them delivered.
Still better than trying to buy Spanish excess Leo2A4s. A tank without autoloader is not modern. Fight me.
An extra crew member is always helpful... both really have their pros and cons ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ depends on your doctrine and view of how battles are fought :P
Flogger is right, but that era is quickly disappearing with larger calibers, longer KE rods etc. The future is automation, this rule can be generally applied to everything, loading is no exception.
The ROF of the T-14 with the 2A82-1M is anticipated to be ridiculous, as the system is now a completely isolated module, the only real issues now are having the FCS and gun stabilization keep up.
Tanks seems to be combined with IFVs/APCs with automation...and modular armors for longer service time.
If it hurts, it works.
