This group is for everyone who like tanks, sci-fi tanks, real tanks, funny tanks, you can put here tank mods, tank maps, simply everything with straps, armor and gun :D
Stuart Recces were quite common and lacked a turret, which is what I assume would be the case here. It looks to be in too good a condition to have had it's turret blown off completely, considering the chassis and suspension doesn't look badly damaged as they would in the case of something like an ammunition explosion.
lol how did they found it ? :D
They must have been digging to fix a pipe or something, and found this!
yeah they were fixing a broken pipe and while doing that something popped out of the side which seems to be some sort of vehicle so they dug it.
That's not German, no German tracked vehicle had wheels/ suspension like that, this is most likely a Stuart.
exactly what i'd say... looks like a stuart
Yes this is NOT a German Halftrack! This is an American M5 Stuart Tank!
a tank fossil? O_o
Definitely a tank fossil ...
Definitely american
Wheres the turret, rusted away or havent found? Looks like its in good shape.
hmm, blown off maybe?
