The FV107 along with the FV101 "Scorpion" and FV101 "Sabre" Variant, has at least 30 to 40 year of service under its belt. Although the FV101 has been withdrawn from active service in 1994 and the FV101 Saber variant in 2004, the FV107 still serves the British armed forces well into the 21st century.
Both the FV107 and FV101 preformed effectively well during the Falklands War in 1982 providing infantry with much needed direct fire support, intelligences, and advantages while night fighting.
The FV107 and FV101 are very similar in design, the main difference is the main armament the FV107 is armed with a 30mm cannon while the FV101 is armed with a 76mm cannon.
As with all British armoured vehicle it contains a boiling vessel to cooking and brew drinks such as tea. Surprisingly there is said to be a hole in the center of commander's seat that can be used as a toilet o.0*.
