You say speed over armor, but this design just screams armor in the likes of a Leo, Abrams and Chally. Judging by the drivers viewports it's probably even bigger than modern day mbt's. If you want speed over armor, then take a look at the CV90 and Sprut SD.

Well, take a look at M8, Stingray and OF-40 because this "Light tank" is meant to be something along this line.
It's rougly the size of a modern MBT, light armor and a weight in the order of 40-45 tonnes.
Let's say it's a medium tank for the correctness, or better, a new generation MBT.
Look at Type-10 for example, one of the newer tanks built today, we are leading toward a new way to build MBTs it weight less than Abrams and Leopard 2, has lighter armor but a strong gun and an autoloader.
Nevertheless it has the same size of any other MBTs but still it can go faster and wight less.

Description

This is my latest model (still WIP).
I need to finish some details and i will have to model the whole turret.
The concept once again is speed over armor, but this one has laser active defence (yes it's a 2020-2025 tank so mankind has reliable, small and not power hungry lasers) and the turret will have a magnetic accelerator.
The crew will be two or three thanks to an autoloader and situational awareness devices.
The tank will have enough power to feed MAC and Laser AD thanks to recently discovered power cells.
