Description
The new IS-3 added in the 1.40 update of Eastern Front. No it isn't burning, that is from the pioneer with the flamethrower that was firing at the tank.
Are you using a historical skins mod or something?
yeah I was/am using the the RPS mod I got from a link on their forums.

Didn't flamethrowers destroy the engine in the release version of CoH?
I do remember something like that actually.
How many times this has happened irl, i don't know. I've never really read anything about flamethrowers burning the crew out of a tank or destroying the engine, it could've happend though.
I would assume it would destroy the engine, since that's what petrol bombs were usually used for in WW2. However, flamethrowers have limited range and are extremely conspicuous, so I can't imagine one being useful against a tank that had any proper support.
Also since flamethrowers a primarily used to clear bunkers, i can't really imagine them having too many encounters with tanks. Their use is fairly limited outside of clearing buildings.
