This group is for everyone who like tanks, sci-fi tanks, real tanks, funny tanks, you can put here tank mods, tank maps, simply everything with straps, armor and gun :D
Personally i find it to be quite clever from a manufacturing standpoint as the chassis are all designed from he get go to be modular multi purpose platforms. I also like the idea of making it a semi or fully autonomous drone tbh but with that said the system as a whole is still not combat tested like any other new gen tank.
Tho I doubt the Russians are worried about this as their primary military focus has been developing & mass deploying very advanced Radio/Radar Electronic Warfare systems capable of seriously crippling ANY conventional US & or NATO militaries comms and navigation systems. Both the US and NATO hasn't had any combat experience in dealing with such jamming for decades now. IE they heavily rely on their tech. far too much and that is NATOs Achilles heal ... I doubt most of the regular NATO troops could even effectively fight without their GPS units nor would they be able to deploy precision air and arty strikes as quickly or as accurately.
I think I read somewhere that both Russia and the US are exploring space based weapons to shoot down GPS and GLONASS providing satellites.
Though I could be remembering this wrong so don't hold me on it. I thought they already had Satellite bombing missiles, maybe its something different.
Also, if war breaks out, everyone including neutral countries will have a fantastically ****** time technology wise let alone economy. Everyone is too tightly connected with and dependent on each other, save for a few.(like North Korea)
Wars will still be fought but these will be proxy wars. Ukraine is yet another Proxy war taken from the books of the old "Cold War".
Russia is probably testing new weapons in Eastern Ukraine. Not looking to start a debate here or anything but Eastern Ukraine is the perfect testing site for Russia against Kiev backed western coup regime.
Still like CadianConscript has said, T-14 will be really interesting when battle tested. ;)
I'll tell you what I think when I see it combat =)
