This group is for everyone who like tanks, sci-fi tanks, real tanks, funny tanks, you can put here tank mods, tank maps, simply everything with straps, armor and gun :D
jajjaja fail xD
The pintle mounted gun should be poking through the shield, not with the shield to its back.
I was aware of it, but the threat is usually coming from the back and sides, than from the front. Who is brave enough to shoot on you from the front with the 125mm gun and 12.7mm machine gun pointed at him? The statistics tell that the most of the tanks are destroyed/damaged from the back and sides. As for the gunners, not as many of them is killed in combat by rifles/snipers/MGs as from the explosion of an AT/IED/Mines/shrapnels (statistic applies to the wars in last 50 years). And, for the gunner, the lack of front armor is giving him better observation of what's going in front of him.
I was simply pointing out to rkraptor07 the reasoning behind sparkranpant's comment. No need to get all facts and statistics on me. *pulls the 'look out we got a badass over here pose'*
Uh...its faulty production, the sheild has all the holes for the gun, but now at the back of the tanker.
Check the second image, there is no place for the gun, and the "holes" are view ports, (the lower space, I'm not sure, but it seems small enough not to be a huge problem, I'm not aware of its mechanical purpose.
There's a larger hole in this image, literally right behind the gun for it to protrude through, its visible in the centre-right of the square.
loooooooooool that tank
protect mah back!!!!11one one one
This one is for the third world.
I don't get all the negativity, if its about having a shield protecting the back and sides (blind spot) of the gunner? Having the plate upfront where you can aim and shoot at isn't as good as having protection from the back, who's going to engage a tank upfront?
Chuck Norris !
