*Prime Fleet (might try to come up with a better name), formally the 1st Imperial Fleet of the New Galactic Empire, exits hyperspace on Vaiken's right flank as the main part of his fleet faced the planet. They were far enough away that they were out of firing range.*

OOC: Here's the fleet numbers since its no longer on the Sith Imperium group and I haven't put it down anywhere yet.

"Ragnarok" (Fury-class Star Dreadnought) Moddb.com
15 Pelleaon SDs
10 Imperius SDs
12 Ardents
6 Bellator BCs
4 Revenge Carriers
10 Vigils
1 Interdictor Dreadnought Moddb.com
"Klinkhammer": Moddb.com

OOC: Don't mean to pick on the new guy, but I was going to bring the pain train on anyone that attacked Gammorr anyway. My fleet is short quite a few ships if its any consolation.

*A message is sent from the Ragnarok to the Nemesis*

"This is Vice-Admiral Heaton Cho of the Prime fleet of the Exterior Union. You are trespassing on newly annexed territory that now belongs to the Union. Usually this would prompt me to simply ask you to leave, since you were not informed, but the Sith Imperium has been deemed a threat to the Union, and we cannot afford to hesitate or show any mercy. Prepare yourselves, and bear witness to the awesome firepower of Ragnarok!"

OOC: Part II

*The Interdictor Dreadnought powers up the Interdiction field, preventing any attempt to retreat. Prime fleet forms an arrowhead formation, with Pells and Imperius's making up the front, the Bellators flank the Ragnarok, Ardents and Vigils take up seemingly random positions, The Klinkhammer, Interdictor, and Revenge carriers form up at the rear and 5 more Imperious make up the rear guard. Vulture II droid starfighters are scrambled, they swarm around the Union capital ships to form fighter nets. An assortment of Scmiter Assault bombers, Neutralizer bombers, and K-wings form up and ready themselves for bombing runs once the fleet closes in. Several squadrons of Annihilator SFs form up to guard the bombers.

Wait. When was this territory a part of the EU? I saw no posting that said so. As far as the other factions are concerned this turf is free game. I have been granted safe passage and assurances by the mandalorians. But then, this is my first fleet engagement so I will try to do my best.

Its a bit complicated, not everything is what it seems. That's all I can say without revealing too much.

Your up for a challenge on your first go, I have one of the most powerful fleets in the RP xD

After hearing the distress signal, the grand imperial fleet exits hp behind the prime fleet. Its ships forming an arrowhead shape, with imperiouses at the front and palleons on the sides. The corvettes are in between as well as frigages and the executor was in the centre. The carriers release annihilator fighters and shadow droids as a defence measure.

Many thanks for answering my distress signal
*The First fleet prepares for attack. The ships converge in a reverse arrowhead formation with the Executor at the center. strike class cruisers and Imperiouses are in the forward flanks and several Palleons guard the rear. More Imperiouses and other Palleons guard the center to protect the Executor. Escort carriers stand by.

All fighters and bombers are launched. They are escorted by Vigil Corvettes and Ardents to take out any incoming fighters. The ardents and Vigils open up with a stream of turbolaser and laser fire to scatter and destroy enemy figthers and bombers. Imperiouses and Palleons fire salvos of tubolaser and ion cannon fire on the enemy imperiouses and palleons, punishing their shields and tearing into their hulls. The bombers begin their runs and drop their payloads on the bellators to soften them up, hitting vital areas and bridge areas while fighters engage enemy fighters. Meanwhile, the executor fires a full salvo at the Klinkhammer's Primary weapon to take it out of commission. This is followed by a bomber group run.

The First fleet then awaits the Grand Fleet's next course of action*

*Prime fleet accelerates at full speed ahead towards Vaiken's fleet. Ragnarok activates all of its engines and the other ships make way as the massive dreadnaught advances toward the 1st fleet to engage at close quarters. The Bellators at the Rag's flanks target Vaiken's Vigils and Ardents, which are destroyed one-by-one as the fleet advances. Annihilators outmanuever the 1st fleet's fighters and shoot them down as they attack the bombers. The Klinkhammer was still well out of range of the Executor, and it plotted a course to escape the Grand fleet, the rear guard covers the Revenge carriers and the Klinkhammer as they find a safer position within the formation. The 4 Imperious at the rear of Prime fleet continue to protect the Carriers and Klinkhammer as they fall back, 4 Pells are redirected from the flanks to guard the rear.*

*The Interictor shuts off its field and diverts the power to its engines as well. The Pells and the rest of the Imperious spread out in two seperate formations, the Klinkhammer forms up with the one advancing to the right of Vaiken's fleet. The Rag plows into the middle of 1st fleets formation, and opens fire with all its guns after coming to a full stop; the Bellators do the same. The Interdictor forms up with the Pells advancing on Vaiken's left flank. 4 Pells and 4 Imperious remain at the rear of the Rag and Bells, forming the rear guard against the Grand fleet. The Revenge carriers form up at various points around the Rag's stern. Vigils wandered and protected Prime fleet capital ships from bomber attacks. Ardents remain on stand-by, nearby the Rag.*

*Finally once all three of Prime fleet's groups were in position at 1st fleet front and flanks, the Interdictor reactivates its interdiction field, and 4 Praetor II's and 10 more Pellaeons are pulled from HP on top of Vaiken's fleet.*

*The Executor fires full salvo at the Interdictor, destroying it's gravity well generators and cutting through it's hull, destroying it.
The Imperiouses and Palleons carve a hole through the enemy counterparts in front with full salvos of turbolaser and ion cannon fire, breaking the enemy formation and severely damaging their hulls and putting several out of commission.

The way is clear for a HP jump. Vaiken leaves a message pod for Vice-Admiral Heaton Cho it reads:
"Vice Admiral, you have proven your fleet to be a worthy opponent. I thank you for giving me the oppotunity to test my skills and showing me where I need to improve. It's a shame. You were once a proud member of the Sith Empire. All of that talent need not go to waste. If you consider allying yourself with us, you would have much to gain. You wouldn't be a lonely backwater sector but a part of something greater and still keep your autonomy. The choice is yours. Think it over. Farewell."

The First Fleet Withdraws*

OOC: I'll just ignore that attack move, since the attack was called off and I was away for a while.

*Upon receiving a message that the attack on the Sith has been called off. Prime fleet ceases fire, and allows the Sith fleets to leave. Cho is amused by Vaiken's message, that the Sith were ignorant of the Union's true strength, and Praxis's vision. A defense fleet and garrison force is dispatched to secure Gamorr, after which Prime fleet returns to the Kamino sector.*

Description

*The First Fleet under the Command of Moff Vaiken enter the Gamorr System. Fighters and Bombers are deployed with Vigil Class Corvettes to scout for hostile forces, while a line of Imperious Class Star Destoyers guard the rear. The Executor class Super Star Destroyer (Named Nemesis) is flanked by Palleon Class Star Destroyers and Ardent Fast Frigates. Several of them and Strike Class Cruisers move to secure the Shipyards. A message is sent to the people planetside.*

"Citizens of Gamorr. This is Moff Vaiken of the Sith Imperium. For too long the Hutts held you in their slimy grip. In the name of the Sith Imperium, I have come to liberate Gamorr from the decadent hold of the Hutts and bless you with the opportunity to join our Empire. No blood shall be shed or destruction wrought on your cities unless you move against us. Obey and you will live in peace, security and an era of opportunity for generations to come. Disobey and you shall reap what you sow.

Moff Vaiken has spoken."
