Perhaps they will be found one day, perhaps not
They will and they will not , but most of them are high realms hard to reach like Valhalla is
Perhaps a great feat would get someone there
Not everyone will reach them perhaps
Avalon , Ys and Hyperborea intrigue me the most
These are not possible in my project unless as special types of maps but cannot say for sure now
You can only reach Valhalla when you died honorably in a battle, soo... yeah its quite hard to reach. But perhaps in the modern days a great feat could work to, interesting
I'm especially wondering how a complete continent can dissapear
For instance the Tibetan's Heaven is Shambhala , perhaps this is why many of them meditate a lot wanting to reach there
I am thinking that each of them in particular has unique requirements
Valhalla requires to fall in honorable battle , Shambhala requires mastery of own body and spirit and who knows what others require
Great feats can be done in modern times too but our times are having the people with the least courage for such things from all history but not impossible anyhow
Simple as pie : A great flood happened and it could not withstand the water mass on it and it sunk ( weak tectonic plate ) ; it had a lot of volcanoes and more than few erupted in the same time blowing up the sustaining structure of the tectonic plate and it collapsed ; a more-than-what-mass-destruction-weapon we have today was dropped on that continent ; an ancient alien invasion bombarded it from orbit ; it sank naturally but this one occured after a very long time than all others
It says the North American continent is bound to sink in the future or increase its lakes sizes , something like that
Atlantis is misplaced, not forgotten. It will be rebuilt one day!
It does say that after the end of days in the reconstruction of Earth , Atlantis and Mu the continents will rise again and be rebuilt by the Atlantean and Lemurian gods returning from the stars
I actually know this for sure because they are alive and kicking back home in year 3000 but i cannot say much about them because i never visited them :D
Once i leave this world and get back home i will visit them for sure
Perhaps Ys was part of Atlantis too for being sunk although is presented as separated and the mistake is that Atlantida was a big continent not just a city
It was a big island, with a main capital city and plenty of smaller ones. I want to be there at the rebuilding, I want to put the first stone of the palace.

They are included in my project as well as bonus but not sure how they might have looked
One thing i can say for now is that i won't design them related to Greeks at all unlike the takes on them we know about
They are among the Lost in the list
I like the Age of Mythology take on them, a mix of Roman, Greek and Southern American with a slight feeling of Celtic too, which is fitting since they supposedly were the Mother Civilization of all the West.
And Lemuria was the mother civilization of all natives of the west , perhaps of Asia too in this case
In Age of Mythology they felt like a crossbreed between Greek and Maya by architecture , in some form they had to be in between West European and East American
I got a lot of ancient enemies to Atlantis planned too : India of course , the Mauryan Empire , Srivijayan and the Gupta , the last being the oldest and closest to Atlantis let's say
I will design Atlantis completely alien to what you seen so far
When i will play with my favorite 3 civs ( Egyptian , Minoan or Vinca ) i promise to make Atlantis for ally , so we can help rebuild the great times :D
