A lot has changed as over the years as the site moved from a dark v1 to a bright and rounded v2, to the classic v3 and now the all mighty v4! Description
In June 2010, 2 years after ModDB v4 had launched, the number of indie games getting submitted to ModDB was accelerating rapidly. To address this, we made the decision to launch IndieDB, to help separate indie news and content from mod news and content.
IndieDB and ModDB remain connected to this day: Indiedb.com
