For all the old skool modders that have stuck by Mod DB from v1 to v4. A lot has changed as over the years as the site moved from a dark v1 to a bright and rounded v2, to the classic v3 and now the all mighty v4! To join this group you must have joined the Mod DB in 2002 or be a KNOWN long time hardcore user!
My first really fully fledged popular site. This site is really the beginning of it all drawing in hundreds of visitors and before long was hosting sites (one of which was HL Rally, a damn n00b site when it first joined the realm!) Having such popularity also opened a few doors with GameKey (now defunt) offering to host ChaosRealm and all affiliated sites. This opened many doors with a rather large 20+ site network developed and the webs largest static Mod DB, (very popular with the visitors). All was good and pretty until gamekey stopped responding to my emails and ChaosRealm started going to the shitta. It was during this rather gloomy period the perhaps the most positive event happened and that was been referred to a company by the name of playnet who were to host all my sites for the next 2 years to come...
