Photography is the process, activity and art of creating still or moving pictures by recording radiation on a medium, such as a photographic film, or an electronic sensor. Light patterns reflected or emitted from objects activate a chemical or electronic sensor during a timed exposure, usually through a photographic lens in a device known as a camera that stores the resulting information chemically or electronically. Photography has many uses for business, science, art and pleasure.

Beautiful city she is.
I think most softwares photo-merging features still need more attention. I've used it a few times with my cameras editing software, but it doesn't really come together the way I'd like. I imagine a pro program is the way to go with this type of work. All in all, it came out quite nicely man.

Hmm, yeah. Photomerge is quite good at panoramas most of the time, however this lens does have whacky distortion at wide angles. I probably should have used a tripod. :P

Description

A 3 frame panorama of Melbourne from the balcony of The Shrine of Remembrance. Shot handheld at 24mm (1/500 @ f/11, ISO 400) with an Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VR lens on a Nikon D90.

Photomerge in Photoshop got a little "screwy" when trying to line up the ledge at the bottom of the frame, too much distortion I think.
