Looks like an astray variant... people wonder why uc guys hate seed...
I dont Hate seed, I Love Astray, it's that seems a little much much?
Maybe it's 'cuz SEED is basically a rehash of UC with a few twists thrown in... or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but that's the only reason I can come up with...

Newtypes=Coordinators
That sort of thing...
if you think that is a rehash of uc then you have watched neither series. UC newtypes vs old types would have ended fast and glowy.
Seed is generally hated because of the completely over the top mary-sue favoritism of the writers. Don't get me wrong, uc does have plot armor.
Wing we have Heero Yuy who has a no fall damage hack.
08th we have shiro who gets extra armor based on how "DEFEND MY FRIENDS" he is
Mobile suit gundam we have LOL CAN'T PENETRATE
Zeta we have Kamile protected by dead people souls when being targeted
However, there was not one instance where a mobile suit blows up on another mobile suit, and the target whose cockpit was open survives entirely unharmed beyond being knocked out.
Seed astray has some ok designs but it is still a little over the top for me. Doesn't matter, you are free to like what you like.
Same, I mainly only looked at it for the Ginn and CGUE assault variants. Astray doesn't make much sense when it comes to plot. Especially when Lowie finds a certain Core Fighter >.>
No ones perfect, I just think that THAT^ Mech is top heavy.
All I'm wishing is that there'd be a battle between Strike Freedom or Infinite Justice vs Impulse Destiny/Destiny Impulse.
I do agree with you about Heero and Kamille though.
It looks like it would fall over backwards quite often.
