Heya, I'm unable to use Desura Client while behind a proxy.I have tried set the env var http_proxy, https_proxy and ftp_proxy but it give me error: wherever I'm going. I can only login. I'm using openSUSE 12.1 64-bit with latest Desura Linux client. Thanks. |

I have the same problem. When I try to download a game I get a this error message: "did not get any data from mcf server" Which apparently is related with proxy. When are we getting proxy support on linux? I'm using Ubuntu 11.10. |

Now that the client is open source that is definately something you can talk with open source developers about adding in to the client. If your a programmer then you could add it yourself now. |

Oh wow, this was super annoying. Despite in System/Preferences/Network Proxy having "Direct internet connection" specified and applied System-wide, I still had something lingering in environment variables. I am now launching the linux Desura with the following script: |
