When I close the Desura, it just closes, no more staying at tray. Is there any way to fix this or is it intended? I am using Ubuntu 12.04 --added-- I found out it works when I set my desktop environment to Unity. No offense, but as far as I know, no sane person uses Unity. Please add stay-as-tray feature for Gnome 3 (Gnome Classic in Ubuntu) otherwise very large percentage of people using Ubuntu won't be able to use convenience of tray icon. Edited by: Lighthouse |

I don't think you want to "close" but rather "minimize" so that Desura idles in the tray. I use Slackware + Xfce 4.6 (smoothwall + xfce-curve) and clicking the "x" closes Desura and the little "-" minimizes to tray. Depends on your tray applet and window manager. |
