When i was at school i learned that he was the only artist to ever be able to draw a perfect circle by hand. i dont know how true this is, but i wouldnt be surprised.
I think the one who was able to draw a perfect cicle was Giotto, not Da Vinci.
"When Pope Benedict asked Giotto for a drawing to prove his worth as an artist, Giotto drew a perfect circle - freehand ... perfection is a powerful message"
Joined. He was such a great person in history that I don't even dare to describe him, because it will sound incomplete.. :)
No doubt! People like Archimedes and Leonardo are that amazing that it's difficult to believe they really existed. Epic!!

Im so disappointed that they teach us NOTHING of him until High school, He is the best, and im ashamed to be american when we don't even acknowledge him.
I somewhat agree, it's the same over here in the UK but I did some good art lessons where I studied some of his art. His sketches show so much detail. There's never been such an artist since and probably never will be again. So much is passed off as art these days when the stuff being passed off as art is actually junk.
It reminds me of Photography, any idiot with a digital camera now considers themselves a photographer.
