Actually..I am not an EU Citizen, I am a Citizen of Switzerland, which is not part of the EU. Also America's foreign policy is far more then Military intervention, they have economic influence greater then any other nation in the world and that effects the world and Europe greatly.

The EU fails for several reasons. Number one as you stated, the Cultures in every European country are far to different for it to work in the first place, as well as the economic and social differences.

Another Huge reason is Socialism, Socialism caused many European companies to pack up and move to other Countries or at least their manufacturing jobs, or caused them to sell themselves to foreign corporations because they could no longer afford to do the rediculous taxes or restrictions put on them, that then causes Unemployment to sky rocket as they leave. Socialism has another effect of those who are wealthy fell to other countries as well to avoid the unfair tax policys, in turn causes less job creation and investment into the EU killing their economy. Next comes the EU failing because of the insane social benefits especially to Moochers that do not want to work or the "Immigrants" that come in and invade said countries. They are Paying more benefits then they can afford to them, which then will cause taxes to go up, and the process as stated above repeats.
