It would be unwise to think that every Christian in the world is rich. Nobody pays attention to those that actually do give everything out of their pocket. Furthermore I don't know how it is in your country, but most churches only survive off of donations of its members, for taxes to maintain the building and to fund its activities. I also find it funny that when you say religious department too, you refer exclusively to Christians like its the only religion that exists in the world.

And yes I agree that there has been a lot of money wasted on the church. It should have been used to help the poor not build monuments.
