I've had plenty of moments similar to this... :/
Never had this happen at a restaurant...But I did have one awkward moment where I had forgot my wallet and was trying to buy computer parts :P
I realized at the checkout when it was my turn, so no harm done, but I felt like a massive idiot...
Had this a couple of months ago when shopping, got all my stuff together and then put my hand in my pocket: nothing there... Very problematic...
