Description
There's too much doom and gloom about it all. Let's make some fun of it. Some of these are potential reasons why it happened and others are potential outcomes. One of these is a message from North Korea, where the opportune moment to strike would be right about now.
They can't pay Smokey to guard it. :(
Well... seeing how people are dumb nowadays, I think they probably need help to walk in the woods. :/
To prevent people from embarrassing themselves from making ignorant comments, national park services often entail a disgusting amount of janitorial work due to the high amount of under educated masses that litter and graffiti in these parks and to keep trails clear. Closing the parks is just a way to stem the mess when the clean up crew is away and unpaid.
These people are also often the first response to emergencies, less people means less emergencies.
They don't want people littering? Then why not EDUCATE THE MASSES?!
We've tried. They're too stupid.
Well since they're closed, might as well break down the gates and run around naked.
