As an econ major I can confirm that this is 100% correct.
Well, that's right!
Because those filthy humans creating entertainment for us don't deserve payment for their so-called 'work', amiright.

Really, even though most movies nowadays are overpriced crap, the community shouldn't devolve to using stupid arguments such as this. The money for movies has to come from somewhere. Else we could say:
"Baby formula makers say stealing is bad? We say no! The money from the formula can be used to buy kittens, and goes back to the economy anyway." Why not?
Just don't watch the movies if they're crap and continue on with your life. Donwloading them and then claiming "piracy is good" is pure hypocrisy.
