This is a group for everyone who likes our beautiful country and/or anything related to it. Here we develop mods and talk about games and gaming in general, current situation in Croatia and latest happenings. This group is dedicated for all Homeland Defenders, expecially those who have fallen bravely in Homeland War ( Domovinski Rat 1991.-1995.) in the name of Croatia, its people and freedom. Eng: Serb in Croatian Army defends its homeland, Croatia.
In hardest times for modern Croatia, while granades were falling on Vukovar and other Croatian towns, many Serbs decided to join Serb/chetnik forces. But some, like Nenad Gagić, decided to fight for their homeland, for Croatia. He came from wealthy family and his father was an orthodox priest.
Mr. Gagić saw what was happening, Serbs have attacked Croatia, and as he said: "I couldn't just stand there in Zagreb, I had to do something". At the start of war, he and his brother wanted to tell their father that they decided to fight for Croatia.
Their father told them: "My sons, for whom else did you mean to fight for, your homeland is under attack, your duty is to defend it!" And so they did.
I salute you Mr. Gagić, because you are a bigger man than all the Serbs in Serbia were and still are, you recognized you country, Croatia, I am proud that we had you on our side!
And above all, thank you for your service!
