Description
Quite a while ago, Sam Harris was shot down by Ben Affleck on Real Time With Bill Maher over his unapologetic distaste for Islam. A couple episodes later another person brought on the show claimed Sam's & Maher's anti-Islamic sentiments to be racist as well. This inspired a great deal of liberal infighting, indeed.

This seems to just come down to a fight between those who understand nuance and liberal reactionaries. This sort of thing has to happen, lest the reactionaries take solid hold; like a metaphorical Stalinist takeover.
