So what if he is "homosex"? Man i wish i was born like 200 years into the future, maybe it would be like Star Trek, no religion, no bias towards gays, stuff like that...
So you wish you lived in a world where everyone believed just as you do and there wasn't any diversity in beliefs?
Sounds like the same train of thought that caused a helluva lot of problems back in the dark ages... you're just on the other side. I prefer diversity and free thought myself.
Now I still agree that this is complete and utter ******** on India's part, but if that's the majority opinion in that country then there's not much that can be done about it.
So, you'd rather not live in a progressive world where people don't have disgusting, discriminatory believes and people are divided as much as possible? Okay, cool. Nice to know where you stand on those issues. In the future, its assumed people come to the conclusion that these things were wrong, how is that not free thought?
This just seems like a way of masking your bigoted ********.
My friend, I assure you that whilst I am a right wing, and Christian man, I fully support homosexuals' rights.
My point was merely this... everyone's opinion is valid. I don't want to live in a world where anyone's beliefs are censored or considered second rate. Even if you, or I, or anyone else considers their beliefs foolish or immoral. They have the right to exist.
Yeah, I realize that. I'm just saying if everyone agrees they are wrong, then there is no problem. Also, you said it would be like the "dark ages". There is a difference between homosexuals, bisexuals, etc, not being discriminated against, and intellectual darkness and economic regression that occurred in Europe. The only way I can see you against this is if you actually have a problem with being gay.
The problem is that in that scenario of the world in 200 years you've just traded one set of moronic bigotry for another.
So in that scenario the radical religious folk aren't discriminating against gays anymore, but I'd wager if there were any religious people left they'd be discriminated against heavily... even if they were moderates like myself.
That's the problem... radicalism. It doesn't matter if you are religious, Atheist, left-wing, or right-wing... if you take your beliefs into radicalism nothing good happens.
Once you start wishing for a world where there aren't any people who don't agree with you, you're going down the same mindset as the Roman Catholic Church did in the dark ages.

I don't see a ******* problem with everyone AGREEING on not being a discriminatory dickhead. But you do, for some reason.
I rather live in a world where someone can freely call gay people "immoral faggots" than one where everything is heretical hate speech. The marketplace of ideas, unlike the one of material resources, can only be hindered by stifling discourse and condemning skepticism. As there will never be a shortage of potential intellectual capital, only restricted flow.
It's ridiculous, but BioWare's track record of writing the worst characters in video game history since Dragon Age 2 still stands. So I bet they aren't missing out on much.
Games are bad. Brutal, sexist and a waste of time. And internet - I would ban all these internets! Kids today are just lazy and rude! But when I was young,... Oh wait...
Ok. That's like... India's opinion man.
But that's like... a billion people who can't live their gay fantasies, man. Real bummer.
One word: idiots...

I was going to answer the same as λpone did, only he did it with better English then i would have. I agree with him 100%

You're arguing a pointless argument mate. I already agreed with you on the topic at hand. What India did was stupid and bigoted.
The only difference is that, in the grand scheme, I acknowledge that India has the right to be stupid if it wants to be stupid.

I never said I didn't want people to be able to do that. I'm just saying, if everyone came to a consensus on that one issue, it wouldn't be bad.
It wouldn't just be "not bad," it would be ideal.
What an enlightened place.
India also bans kissing in public.

Strange how their whole country has a navel fetish.
