The media is a low level reality warper in terms of it's power, but only when the people do nothing and passively accept the reality they're feed.
The trick now is to shatter this passivity, but be warned, the consequences* from that may not be worth it...
*Once again I'll bring up the example of the Matrix trilogy, was it worth it for humanity to be liberated from the matrix, only to be freed into a post apocalyptic hellscape?
But there is a huge difference between the real world and the real world from Matrix.
The world from Matrix is in a point of no salvation, there is absolutely nothing that can be done to fix it. Our world can be saved, if people wake up, stand up and fight for it.

It's kinda sad to see what journalism has become. When I was younger I had the image of reporters going wherever it was necessary to discover the truth and tell people about it, but the truth is that they just sit in an office somewhere and broadcast the information that is beneficial to them.
The elite will always try to control the people, so they took control of the media a long time ago and use it to push their agendas.
It's hard to find a reliable source of information nowadays...
There still are journalists out there that do what it takes to discover but because of the unhelpful mass media and our closet oligarchs; They're becoming scarce.
It may have something to do with Bernie Sanders supporters being more active on the internet and more passionate than supporters for Hillary Clinton, thus voting more; similar to how Sanders frequently yields bigger crowds. Nonetheless, it is a bit suspicious that every news source seems to be hailing Hillary as the hands-down winner...
